Machining solutions planned around your drawing, critical features and production requirements
Hongming Sheng manufactures custom CNC components for prototypes, low-volume orders and repeat production. Each quotation considers material, geometry, setups, tolerances, finishing and inspection requirements.
CNC Machining Capabilities
01 3 / 4 / 5-Axis Milling Multi-face machining for profiles, pockets, holes and complex features.
02 CNC Turning Shafts, sleeves, bushings, threaded parts and rotational components.
03 Prototype to Production One-off validation parts, small batches and repeat manufacturing support.
04 Secondary Operations Grinding, heat treatment, surface finishing, hardware and assembly where required.
Common Machining Materials
Aluminum: 5052, 6061, 6063, 7075 and drawing-specified grades
Stainless steel: grades selected according to function and machinability
Steel: carbon steel, alloy steel and tool steel where applicable
Copper alloys: copper, brass and related materials
Engineering plastics: selected materials according to the application
From Drawing Review to Shipment
01Drawing review: confirm material, quantity, critical tolerances and finish.
02Process planning: evaluate setups, workholding, tool access and inspection points.
03Programming & machining: prepare toolpaths and manufacture according to the approved route.
04Finishing: complete deburring, coating, heat treatment or other specified processes.
05Inspection & packing: verify specified requirements and prepare the parts for shipment.
Engineering & Quality Review
DFM feedback for tool access, corner radii, walls and setups
Review of critical dimensions, fits, threads and surface finish
Suitable measuring methods selected for drawing requirements
Inspection or material documents supplied when agreed for the project
Achievable tolerance depends on part size, material, geometry, datum structure and measurement method. Critical tolerances should be clearly marked on the drawing for engineering review.
Frequently Asked Questions
What file formats can I send?
STEP, STP, IGES, SolidWorks, DWG and PDF files can be reviewed. Sending both a 3D model and a dimensioned 2D drawing is preferred.
Can you machine one prototype?
Yes. CNC projects can start from one piece, subject to material availability and process review.
How long does production take?
Lead time depends on material, complexity, quantity, finishing and inspection requirements. It is confirmed after the drawing has been reviewed.
